DIVERSITY IN BREWING

We are a grassroots initiative dedicated to supporting BIPOC and LGBTQ2S+ folx in the craft brewing industry and community.

Our objective is to promote and foster a diverse, respectful, and welcoming brewing industry in Vancouver, BC and beyond. We will connect breweries with resources to help create spaces and cultures that are anti-racist, anti-discriminatory and inclusive.

We acknowledge that our work takes place on the stolen ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. We encourage you to learn more about the history of these Indigenous Peoples and their land.

GET INVOLVED!

The donation deadline for the 2020/2021 Diversity in Brewing Scholarship with KPU's Brewing Diploma program has closed. For more about our scholarship, please click here. If your brewery would like to contribute to the 2021/2022 scholarship to support and encourage BIPOC and LGBTQ2S+ brewing students, please contact us at: diversityinbrewing@gmail.com.

It is important that our BIPOC and LGBTQ2S+ Contributors and Guest Contributors are paid for their work. As a grassroots initiative, we are not sponsored or affiliated with any particular brand or business and rely on community donations to fund our blog and to ensure Contributors are appropriately compensated. If you would like to donate, you may do so through PayPal or e-transfer: diversityinbrewing@gmail.com.
